I started taking pictures on the 10th of June 2002 and found that it's
actually increased my Diving pleasure! I tend to dive a lot slower than I used to and so see a lot
more, as I'm always looking for that elusive "Perfect Picture"
I am now using a Nikon Coolpix 5000 following the
theft of My SONY P9 so because there are now
photos from two cameras I'll state if they are from the Nikon ...
Coolpix 5000 in a Ikelite housing (Rated to 60m) with dual Ikelite DS125 strobes, or
if the camera is not mentioned then it is the Sony P9 in the SONY Housing (Rated to 40m). I
didn't have an external strobe for
the Sony so had to rely on either the Internal
Flash or I carried a big halogen torch with me.
I also used a Sea&Sea adaptor which allowed me to use 2:1
and 3:1 Macro lenses and a 16mm wide angle lens, all these
lenses are for the Sea&Sea Motor Marine II camera, and increased my ability to
take pictures over the standard P9 greatly.
Most of my images have been adjusted using Photoshop Elements
or Photoshop 7 to
sharpen them or clean up Backscatter etc. Occasionally (very
occasionally!) I get an image that Photoshop
can't adjust as it has turned out right first time, and that feeling
is Great!
To make it easy for you, I have sorted all my images into various
categories, to view these galleries, please make a selection from the
menu on the left, the numbers in brackets indicate
how many pictures are within that gallery.
Once you've selected the gallery you want to look at, you will see
thumbnail images of the pictures on that page, click on the thumbnail
that you want to view the full picture of and a window will open with
the picture in it, to find out some info about the picture scroll down
in the window for the info underneath. ....have fun, enjoy the
images and once again, please feel free to
offer me feedback.
